Losing Focus Will Destroy Your Momentum and Business

Hi! Well it's been a while since I've posted on here. Why? Well, to be honest, I had lost my focus for a while. In this post I'm going to tell you about how I lost my focus and what I have done to regain it.

So many network marketers make the mistake of looking for the perfect business.  The one business out there with the best compensation plan, best products, easy to market, etc.  The truth is... there is NO perfect business.  I have learned this through experience. Here's a short history of my businesses that I have joined and failed.  My network marketing experiences consist of Avon, Mary Kay, Arbonne, Vitamark, and OneX.  These have been within a 3 year period.  The reason I didn't achieve success wasn't because they aren't great companies... it was me.

In the beginning (Avon and Mary Kay) I had no clue how to market online.  When I joined Arbonne I started to learning marketing.  But I didn't realize how much actual work it really takes. Therefore, I quit.

Being a stay at home mom I knew I had to do something to supplement our family income. So I started searching online again. I found Mentoring For Free and Vitamark.  Great system! I was actually for the first time generating online leads and learning how to get my name noticed. But I still wasn't moving product and bringing in an income.

I began looking for a marketing system. Something I could use to learn how to market and make some money at the same time. I was still in Vitamark but wanted to REALLY learn how to market online.  I was on Facebook making the mistake of posting my opportunity on friend's walls and pitching my opportunity in a private message.

April Marie Tucker (now my mentor) brought this to my attention in a reply to one of my private messages. She was actually quite blunt and at the time I thought rude. But it raised my curiosity. So I started checking out her blog and what she was successful at and how she was doing it. I filled out a form on her website (www.aprilmarietucker.com) for a blueprint on how to succeed.  That's when I was introduced to MyLeadSystemPro.

WOW, I learned so much.  And there was 19 different strings of income available!  I dove right in and in a short time had over 100 leads and made April's "Team Member of the Month."  Then, due to lack of consistency with my marketing the leads stopped as did the sign ups and sales. So... I decided apparently this isn't for me.  Now what?

Well, another partner of mine, Amber Jones, told me about a new opportunity due to launch in a month but you could start building your team now.  And it's only $5!  I said awesome I'm in!  This is OneX. It's an awesome feeder program and a way to make some extra cash.  I have 45 in my direct downline and it's still growing. But I recently noticed even with learning safe list marketing it had slowed down a bit.

I spent some time recently thinking about all the opportunities I've been involved in and thought about what helped me the most.  MyLeadSystemPro taught me how to brand myself online.  I had forgot the fact the people join people, not companies. I needed to get my name out there again.  So I have recently rejoined the best lead generation, affiliate marketing, and coaching program that I have found and I have regained my focus and found a new energy toward my business.

If you want to avoid losing momentum and being the network marketing "grasshopper" like I have done here's some tips on what not to do...

1.  DON'T try to find the perfect business
2.  DON'T get discouraged if you're not generating lots of money within 6 months
3.  DON'T spam! In emails, facebook, or otherwise

If you want to achieve success on the Internet... here's what you should do...

1. DO find a company and product that interests you
2. DO follow your mentor's advice and tips
3. DO set realistic goals
4. DO build relationships with people in a tactful way and offer value
5. DO learn how to do all of this and more with My Lead System Pro

With that said... I wish you all the best in your networking marketing adventures! Please feel free to leave a comment or contact me if you'd like a free coaching session!

Professional Network Marketer vs. Hobbyist

People become involved in Network Marketing for many different reasons.  Some people join an MLM because they have lost their job and are looking for income or they want to supplement the income they do have.  Others (like me) are a stay at home parent and needing to still bring income into the home. Income is not the only reason people decide to start a home based business.  Do you have dreams and desires? I do.  I look as network marketing as a vehicle to help me achieve those dreams.  With  all this said, ask yourself "Am I treating my business as a business or a hobby."  All hobbys are expensive, network marketing included.  Today I am going to give you some ways to determine if your business is a hobby or if you are pursuing it in the way you should to achieve your goals and dreams.

When a person has a hobby it is something that they more than likely do in their spare time.  Some people often switch their hobbys throughout the year due to seasons or preference.  In network marketing if you are constantly switching opportunities or looking for that "get rich quick scheme", working only "when you feel like it", or not doing what the average person is unwilling to do you are a hobbyist and more then likely will not succeed.  You have stick with the opportunity that you chose long enough for it to pay you back.  This business takes consistence, persistence, and courage.  You must be willing to fail and learn from your failures, move on, and don't get discouraged.

If you desire to really succeed at network marketing you must have an effective marketing strategy.  If you do not possess this and take the time to learn the skills you will be wasting your time and money and more than like slip back into the trap of a hobbyist looking for that "get rick quick scheme."

There is a lot to learn in the business of network marketing.  I compare it to going back to college, only this time you learn from colleagues not professors.  If you find that you are struggling and may be in the mindset of a hobbyist here are a few reasons why that may be happening.

1. You haven't taken the time to learn the skills needed to market your business.  I'm not saying spend your entire day attending webinars and reading. I do highly suggest you set aside 3-5 hours a week on personal development and training.

2. You are not as committed to your business as you could be.  Success in anything takes sacrifice. This may mean 2 nights a week your spouse may have to tuck the kids in bed because you have a webinar.  Or it may mean paying the entrance fee to a seminar which you know you will benefit from in the future.

3. You have no plan of action.  What is your daily work routine? What is the one thing you want to accomplish today, this week, this month, or this year?  These are very importance goal setting questions to ask yourself.

4. You are not using your support system.  There are tons of people in this industry and if you have a question or a problem most are more than willing to help you. The best support and marketing system I have found is My Lead System Pro.  The network marketers here truly care for each other.  We are not simply business partners ... we are friends. For more information on what this system has to offer please visit http://www.workwithmargaretwilson.com . I would love to help you overcome your struggles and travel the road to success with you.

If you start changing some of the points you can avoid the trap of becoming a hobbyist and start down the road to success.

My Road To The Life Of Network Marketing And My Reason Why

"DON'T EVER LET ANYONE TELL YOU YOU CAN'T DO SOMETHING...NOT EVEN ME." (from the movie The Pursuit of Happiness)

When I first became involved with Network Marketing in January of 2010 I was just fired from my job in the nursing field (which I loved), pregnant with my 3rd son, and down on life.  I knew I needed to find a way to make money from home because daycare would be too expensive for 3 children.  So I found Network Marketing.  My mentors would always be asking "why" did you choose network marketing?  My reply was "I need to be able to stay home with my kids and make money."

I'm going to share with you my story on why this is no longer my reason for choosing networking marketing as a career.  I first need to give you a little background about me. So if you don't REALLY want to get to know me...stop reading now.  On the other hand if you want to know someone who grew up with everything a child could ask for, has lived with nothing, and is now realizing her purpose in life....read on. (This may get a little long, but is all needed to get my point across.)

I grew up an only child and spoiled.  My parents were fairly well to do but with good work ethic.  I grew up showing Arabian horses (not a cheap hobby).  At the age of 16 I was given a car and a $15,000 horse, had a nice house, parents that loved me.  After high school I went on to college...flunked out.  After coming home I began to hang with the wrong crowd of people and my parents gave some tough love and said "you want that lifestyle....go live it."  So I did and I learned "the grass isn't greener on the other side of that fence"!  Moved back home.  Got my life back on track..a little. That was at age 23.

Fast forward to age 24.  I was working in the nursing field, married to an abusive husband when I met my best friend and 2nd husband.  I divorced my first husband, lived in a friend's basement until me and my best friend could afford our own place.  During this time we got married and were able to get our own place in Des Moines Iowa only to learn we were living way above our means and got evicted.  We moved in with a relative of his, no jobs, my Ford Ranger Truck got repossessed, and I was pregnant.  This was the time of my life where I had nothing and had lost my sense of self.  I'm not sharing this for sympathy, just to give you an understanding of where I came from.

Fast forward to age 29.  We moved to a farm in Cedar Falls Iowa where I could pursue my dream career of training Arabian horses.  During this time we welcomed our second son in the world.  We lived there for 3 years until the good situation went bad and we decided to move closer to family.

We moved to Carroll Iowa where we live now.  Horses have always been a part of my family's life and I miss them horribly. I realized shortly after moving here I wasn't the only one missing the "farm life."  My 7 year old son was really down one day and I asked him what was wrong.  He said "I miss the farm."  As mentioned above I started network marketing in 2010, and after seeing my son's tears and hearing that one sentence I knew what my "why" was for network marketing.  It was to make enough money for us to live the "farm life" again.

This past weekend my "why" showed up right before my eyes, totally unexpected, and twice.  I was on my way to Wal-mart with my 7 year old and 2 year old, having a bad day, and really needing something to lift my spirits on this Easter weekend. Then, as I turned the corner there it was.  The Carroll County Saddle Club was giving pony rides.  My son's face immediately said "can we stop?" Of course, I did. It was my 2 year old's first ride. The smiles on their faces were priceless.  I have promised my son within the next 5 years we will have our own farm.  Then, today I was sitting outside with my kids thinking of yesterday's events. Just as I was thinking "Why I am a network marketer isn't about the money, it's about my children's happiness", a family riding horses came right down our street! Honest.  There we were again around what we want more than anything...the "farm life."

The reason I am a network marketer is no longer about the money that can be made.  It is SO MUCH MORE! It is about having the ability and the knowledge to help others achieve their dreams (not a million dollars) and what they REALLY want to experience in life.  It's also about having the ability to give my children whatever it is that makes them happy.  Sure it takes money to give them the things that make them happy, but it's no longer about how much money. Money doesn't buy happiness.  With my success in network marketing we will have the "farm life."  My BURNING DESIRE to succeed has turned into a bonfire after this past weekend.

With all this said, here is what I want you to think about.  Your reason "why" you are a network marketer is actually disguised behind the amount of money you desire.

This was a very personal post and I hope you enjoyed it.  If you are interested in learning more about network marketing, me, or my primary company please email me at margaret8302@gmail.com.  I look forward to your comments.

Tips On Working Your Business Over Easter Weekend

I want to start off by saying "Happy Easter."  As network marketers we a constantly thinking about what can I do to increase my business today?  Can I do something more than what I did yesterday?  The answer to those questions is usually "yes."  People who work outside of the home or in corporate America often have the Holidays off or take time off to spend with their families.  Entrepreneurs on the other hand are constantly working.  So I started thinking how can I work my business over the holiday and not seem like a bother to people who are spending the time with their families.  Here are 2 suggestions on how to keep working your business over the Easter weekend.

1. I am calling the people I am connected with on the social sites and simply wishing them a Happy Easter.  This is an easy way to start a conversation with someone you may only know through the Internet and hasn't became a lead for your business.  If the conversation develops into talking about business...great.  If it doesn't, at least you have made a connection other that a chat or email.

2. The second thing I am doing is sending out an email blast offering an Easter gift.  In my case it is a
Free Training to learn how to generate endless leads.  You can make the gift whatever fits your needs.  Since it is a gift I recommend it be something FREE and of VALUE.

There are many things you can do to keep working over the weekend. This are just two simple techniques that don't take alot of time and you'll still have time left to spend with your family over the Holiday.  If your interested in the FREE TRAINING mentioned above here is the link http://m_wilson.limitlessleadsforlife.com/ . It is my gift to you for taking the time out of your weekend to visit my blog.

The Importance Of Income Producing Activity

Network Marketers are very busy people.  Some people think that home business owners just sit in front of a computer all day and "do nothing." We know that is not true. In order to effectively run and build a home business we have to keep a website up to date, create a blog (if desired) and add content to it, continously advertise what we have to offer by posting links or occasionally chat on the social sites, keep in contact with our leads, read books to increase our value, etc.  Don't get me wrong, these activites are important if you desire success.

But what is it that really grows our business?  Income Producing Activities.  Busy work such as organizing our workspace, phone numbers, data, checking email too often, or other miscellancous activity can kill a business.  WHY?  Because doing these things are important, but they are not going to bring anyone into your business, and often are used to procrastinate what really needs to be done.

Income producing activities will help you build your business. I have listed the activities I believe should be done on a daily basis.

1. Make Phone Calls to leads-  2-3 hours a day minimum
2. Add new contacts to social sites and send a messege - 1/2 hour max.
3. Write a blog post - 1-2 hours
4. Put an announcement for your blog post on all social groups 1 hour
5. Respond to emails/calls - 1 hour
6. Make phone calls to aquaitances on social sites just to introduce yourself 1-2 hours
7. Update your status on social sites offering value/link to website 1/2 hour

These are the activities that are going to grow your business and drive traffic to your websites.  So...if you're struggling with getting leads, getting people to join your business, or getting people interested in your product you're probably spending too much time on the busy work and procrastinating on what needs to be done.  I highly advice to use a daily planner or agenda and schedule everything for the day.  Being a mother of 3 I even go as far as including meal times, snack times, and bedtime.  This helps me put the income producing activites first.  The key to having a schedule is sticking to it.  I realize things may come up or may not go as planned.  When that happens you simply need to adjust your schedule.

What Makes A Network Marketer Successful?

When I first started in network marketing I was "in awe" of the people who had the huge houses and fancy cars.  I thought "Now that person has been successful."  My concept of being successful has changed.  You don't have to have the huge house, fancy cars, or even being making $10,000/month to be successful.  I have learned that a person's small achievements can make them successful.  Here's a small list of my recent achievements that make me successful:

- own blog
- own website
- 3-7 leads consistently on a daily basis
- Team Player of the Month (April)
list is growing
- comfortable talking to people on the phone
- network marketers are calling me
People are asking me for my advice

These are little things that I have accomplished, most within the last 2 months.  A year and a half ago I thought I'll be successful when I'm making $10,000/month.  That is no longer true.  I have achieved these short term goals and I am now a success!  A small success that is only going to get bigger. So if you're struggling in network marketing and think "I'm NEVER going to be a success"; look at your small achievements.  I was once asked "How do you eat an elephant"?  One bite at a time.  Achieve little things and you WILL become successful in this industry.

I have found a tool on the Internet that has helped me achieve much of the list above.  With this tool I can earn an income from it along side my Primary Business of Vitamark International.  For more information on the tool I have used to achieve my short term goals please visit http://www.workwithmargaretwilson.com.

Discourgement- Something EVERY Network Marketer Has Or Will Experience

This is one reason many network marketers fail or quit.  Being discouraged in this industry comes in many forms. I have listed a few here.
-Family-"You need to get a job, support you're family." In my personal situation I have three children, if I were to get a job, I would simply be paying for daycare and gas, not exactly contributing to the household income.

-Society- "Those online line business just want your money, they don't want to help you make money." Believe it or not, there are people that think that way.

-Lifestyle Change- When you are building your online business you have to put into it what you want out of it.  In other words, you may have several nights where you are up late and may only get a few hours of sleep.  Again, in my situation, I often work until 1am simply because that's when my house is the quietest and I can focus.  Then I am up at 5:30am to check my emails and take care of anything important before the day actually begins.

-Slow Results- This is a huge one.  I think sometimes when a person first looks into network marketing they see all the "Gurus and Heavy Hitters" with their million dollar cars and huge houses and they think it happened for them overnight.  Well, I'm here to tell you it didn't.  They too had to increase their value and build relationships.

-"I'm Not Getting Any Leads/My List Isn't Growing"- When network marketers start to think thisway, they've already signed their resignation.  Nothing happens fast in network marketing.

So how do you deal with all of this?  It's in your mindset, persistence, and determination.  In your mind you have to "know" not convince yourself that this is what you want to do.  Your reason for doing it (your "why") has to be big enough to overcome ALL objections and obstacles.  I recently had a family member say to me "all you do is sit and that computer, you haven't made anything."  And I replied with "and that's what I'm going to continue to do, because I know what I'm doing will change our life."  The person said nothing more.

You have to be persistent and have a daily plan of action. This should consist of a list of things to do daily that are income producing.  You need to call at MINIMUM 20 people a day, post AT LEAST one piece of value on every social networking website that you belong to, respond to every personal message and email, and take 30 minutes a day for personal development.  This is a huge secret of mine I just let out!  This is my MINIMUM daily plan of action.

If you are determined to make it happen...it will.  You can't tell yourself "I'll try this."  You have to say aloud "I'm going to do whatever it takes to succeed in Network Marketing."

The last way I would like to mention on how to handle frustrations and discouragement in Network Marketing is find a good support system.  In MLSP I have found an excellent support system.  Not only does it offer a college degree level of training, but the other members are always available to give advice, offer solutions, or just be a friend.  I highly recommend checking out MyLeadSystemPro by clicking on the letters above (MLSP), not just for a great system, but a place to find awesome network marketing friends.

How And Why To Follow Up With A Phone Call

If you have been in network marketing for any amount of time you have heard the phrase "my telephone weighs 1000 lbs."  I am here to explain how to help your phone "lose weight."  But first we need to focus on why it is so important to follow up with every lead or network marketing contact by telephone.  In network marketing today we are exposed to so many other network marketers.  Some are looking for a new business opportunity, needing leads, needing customers, or simply wanting to connect with fellow network marketers to share ideas and tips for growing their business.  When you received notification, usually by email, that you have a new lead the only information you get is their name, email, phone # (hopefully), and other various facts as to where they went on your website and how they found it.  How are you really going to find out what that person was interested in when they opted in on your website?  Chat on Facebook?  Sure that's OK, but you can't hear their voice there.  When you actually listen to what a person is saying you can tell whether they are sincere, distracted, bored, excited, happy, or irritated.  Another way you can find out what the person was interested in is send them an email.  It is a good idea to connect by email after receiving a lead, but not to find out their interest.  In the email state something to the fact of "Thank you for visiting my website I look forward to speaking with you soon."  The body of the email should contain enticing information about the product or opportunity you have to offer.

The reason you want to call someone is not to "pitch" your opportunity or product.  When you call a lead for your business think of it as a job application.  You are calling to interview them, but they don't know that.  You want to find out the following:

-network marketing experience
-what they like about what they do
-what they don't like about what they do
-why they chose network marketing
-how much money they want to make

So now you're wondering how do I do this without sounding desperate.  If you call and just start "pitching" what you have to offer, that sounds desperate.  When I call someone I want to be the one asking the questions that keeps me in control of the conversation.  I usually start out with something like this:

"Hi is ____ in please?  Hi ____ this is Margaret Wilson calling. You recently visited my website regarding making money from home.  Is this something you're still interested in."

Then I wrote my own questions regarding the information I want to find out about the person.  Not only do I call my leads, I also make phone contact with many of my friends on Facebook, Twitter, and Linked In.  Why?  Because they might be looking for a new opportunity and just haven't found my website yet.  The more you pick up your phone the more weight it will loose!

Attraction Marketing- A skill you must have for success - Part 3

In the first post of this series I breifly explained the broad field of Attraction Marketing. In the second post I gave an overview of how to give out your content.  So now we are at the point of people are starting to request you as friend on Facebook, following  you on Twitter, and joining you on Linked In.  You may be asking "Now what"?  It is the time to follow up with EVERYONE!  I'm going to tell you today my simple process of following up. Here we go...

1. Facebook- I immediately repond to friend requests.  At the time I accept I also send them a private messege thanking them for the connection and I give them a FREE presentation to view on becoming famous on Facebook, a link to my Facebook Fan Page, and in my signature is my blog link.

2. Twitter- When I receive a notification that someone is now following me on Twitter I go look them up and send them a direct messege say hello and I give a link to my Facebook Fan page.  This is simply to let them know "Hey thanks for the follow."  I also have a program set up in SocialOomph where this is automated!!

3. LinkedIn- When people connect with me here I look them up and send them a messege saying similar to the same thing as Facebook.  The difference being I may ask them what there 2 biggest struggles are in Network Marketing or MLM, or I give a link offering them to join the lead generation system that I use (I'll give this link here in a minute).

That's it... pretty simple huh?  Well, it doesn't stop there.  This is where the work comes in and you may need to come out of your comfort zone to complete the last step of follow up.  For all three of these you can usually find the phone number of the person that connected with you.  It's now time to pick up the phone. Let them know you are a real person! I usually say something like "Hey we're friends on Facebook and I just thought I'd give you a call to say hello"!  If you can't find a phone sometimes they have alink to their website which will either give a phone# or email.  If I email them I put in the subject line "I'm connected with you from ______."  This lets them know we do know eachother through the internet.  Then in the email I ask for their contact information so we can connect via telephone and get to know eachother better.

All of this falls under building the relationship and people aren't going to join  you in anything or ask for your help if they don't know who you are!  I previously mentioned a lead generation system that I use.  The program I have found is so powerful. It not only has the resources to help  you get leads and explode your business, but many of these techniques I have learned from this system through their numberous webinars and exclusive trainings.  If you would like more information on facebook training, twitter training, and the system I use to grow my business click on the Big Box on the right of my blog that has the letter MLSP (MyLeadSystemPro) or email me at margaret8302@gmail.com and I will be more than happy to introduce you to the best training and lead generation system out there. Not only does it help you grow your Primary Oppurtunity but it also provides you with numberous income streams.

I hope you have enjoyed this series and I look forward to your comments or emails.

Attraction Marketing- A Skill You Must Have For Success- Part 2

The first post in this series gave an overview of what Attraction Marketing is.  You must increase your knowledge so you have VALUE to give.  So the next question is "How do I give the value I have"?  Today I'm going to give you 3 simple strategies I use to get my value out into the world of Network Marketing. Here we go...

1. Facebook- I use facebook to post my links (which lead to a capture page, video, ebook, or my blog) my wall and on walls of groups that I have joined.  I give a tidbit of the information of what they will find when they click the link.  I don't post links on other people's walls, this is considered spamming.  If you want to direct you content/value to specific people send them a private message.  Also, when I receive a friend request, I accept it and then immediately send them a private message thanking them for the friendship and giving them a link that has some free information or value.  I also make sure I put my website/blog link in all messages I send.

2. Linked In- This is a great place to connect with people in your niche, in groups, or in your company. Same technique applies here.  When I receive a connection request, I immediately send them a private message thanking them and offering some value.

3. Twitter- Twitter is a little bit different.  In the "news feed" of twitter you can post links offering value.  People will also often send you private messages.  I respond to all of these saying thank you and then I either ask them to connect with me on facebook, visit my blog, or I'll offer something of value (ex. free ebook).

These are just three simple strategies on offering your value.  There are a ton of ways to offer your value and MANY more social network sites to join.  These are just 3 of the more user friendly sites that I enjoy. Why is it important to do these tedious tasks?  It helps build relationships, which is essential in network marketing.  Social Media websites have become a HUGE resource for connecting with people and growing your business. An important point to remember is NOBODY is going to join you in your business or purchase something you have to offer until they know you have done your research and have something good to offer. You must ATTRACT people to you, get to know them, offer value, and build the relationship before you ever go "pitching" someone on your business or service.  If you immediately start say "Check out my company" or "Let me build a blog for you", people's first thought is going to be "I don't even know you, how can I trust what you have to offer." Therefore, you have lost your lead without ever giving them a chance.

The last part in this series is going to be focused on "follow-up."  If you don't put this in place during your daily routine...you will not succeed.

Margaret Wilson

Attraction Marketing...A Skill You Must Learn For Success- Part 1

When I first heard the phrase "people join you, not the company", I thought "what does that mean"?  It wasn't until recently that I truely discovered the meaning and value behind this concept.  When I first started into home based businesses it sounded so easy: pay some money, here's your website, here's a little training to get you started.  So I paid the money, got the website, watched the trainings, and also got no results. I continuously asked myself "What am I doing wrong"?  Then after listening to a few more webinars and reading some books on MLM it dawned on me... NOBODY knows who I am.  Sure, I was on Facebook and Twitter but that's not enough.  I have learned you have to first increase your knowledge so you have something to GIVE to people who are interested in Network Marketing.  Read everything you can about blogging, MLM, facebook, twitter, and attraction marketing.  The thing that you GIVE must have VALUE. In other words, how is what you have learned going to help someone else grow THEIR business.  What can you GIVE that others are looking for?  That is attraction marketing. That is what brings people to you.

Once I had the knowledge then I asked "What do I do with this"?  You GIVE it out on social websites, your blog, and your website. This is how you begin to get your name known in the world of Network Marketing.  If nobody knows you exist how are you going to grow your business?

This is the first article in a series.  In the next segment I'll go into more detail about how to get the knowledge that you know out into the world of Network Marketing.

Having The Right Mindset Is Essential in Network Marketing

Just like the image to the left states "Every journey begins with the first step", the first step toward success is a positive mindset.  If you don't have the right mindset what you have is a recipe for failure.  I'm sot saying that you won't fail or have disappoints.  What I am saying is if you have a positive mind set and a clearly defined "Why" you have the tools to overcome failure.  It has been said time and time again that opportunity tends to present itself in a time of failure or crisis.  Your mindset is what pushes you forward through those times and helps you realize when opportunity has knocked at your door.  And because you have a mindset for success you will be ready when opportunity knocks.
I have already given few reasons why mindset is so important if you want to succeed in Network Marketing.  Below I have describe 3 more things a positive mindset can do.

1. A positive mindset increases your self confidence and self belief- If you don't have confidence you can do something....it won't happen.  You have to believe in yourself and what you can do.

2. A positive mindset makes you even more determined to succeed- You have to throw your fear of failure out the window!  Remember fear is simply a state of mind.  A positive mindset is more powerful than the state of mind consisting of fear.

3. A positive mind lead to action- If you don't take action on your thought and idea you'll get no where.  Since you have a positive mindset you have the confidence and belief in your self to step out of your comfort zone and take action.

In closing, the mind is a very powerful tool.  But if it is not programmed toward success it can be your worst enemy!

5 Pillars of MLM Companies

My Personal Mentor and friend, Michael Dlouhy discovered "The 5 Pillars" of successful MLM companies.  He did this by joining over 100 opportunities and analyzing EVERYTHING about them. What works, what doesn't.  Why do some people succeed and some do not?  Before joining any opportunity or business I highly recommend you read the Policies and Procedures and make sure the company has the 5 Pillars I have listed and described below.

1. Company Management Experience With Integrity - Do the Presidents and Executives of a company know what it's like to be a distributor just starting out?

2. Timing in the Company and Timing in the Industry - Are there consistent profits or a high overhead?  Is the product going to be something that will be needed in the future?

3. A Great Product at a Value Price - Most MLM companies has outstanding products.  But do you have to give reasons why the one you have to offer is so expensive?

4. A Compensation Plan That Rewards Part-Timers - If you can only work part-time from home will you be compensated for your effort?

5. A Proven Duplicatable System - You shouldn't have to "hound" your friends and family.  Does the company have training offered that is proven to work, gives you necessary information on skills you will need, and an easy to understand and navigate backoffice?

As you look at and think about the company you are in or one you may be looking at to join, it is imperative to YOUR success that these 5 Pillars are in place.  For more information on this topic and other key areas of Network Marketing I invite you to click the link below and read the FREE EBOOK!

Auto-Suggestion Can Change Your Life!

If you think about something enough and have a BURNING DESIRE to achieve it, it can change your life.  Some people would say "How is that possible"?  It's possible through the principle of Auto-Suggestion. This is clearly defined by Napoleon Hill's book "Think and Grow Rich", Chapter 2.  If you apply the following steps in Chapter 2 (which I have listed and described below),  it could CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

1.  Decide what the exact amount of money you want!  This can be a weekly, monthly, or yearly amount.
2. What are you going to give in return for the desired amount of money?  This can be the knowledge you have obtained, free products, free gifts, etc.
3. Decide a definite date by which this amount of money you desire will be acquired!  This step is essential for you to succeed.
4. Create your plan-whether you are ready or not, put this plan of desire into action now!  The longer you wait to start the longer it will be before you change your life.
5. Write down a clear and concise statement of the amount of money you desire, how you plan to achieve this and by when and what you plan to give in exchange for this.  Remember Network Marketing is about 80% of giving and 20% of taking.
6. Read this statement to yourself morning and night out loud not in your head.

By following these steps you are actually accessing your subconscious mind.  After I started to implement these steps I literally started to have dreams at night about my DESIRE.  I actually could FEEL myself in possession of the amount of money I DESIRED and the life I want to live.  We all know DREAMS are formed in the subconscious.  I have accessed my subconscious mind. What an experience.  This concept is so powerful.  I invite you to USE IT, BELIEVE IN IT, AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!

I am not here to promote an opportunity or sell you anything.  I enjoying coaching, mentoring, and helping people achieve their goals and dreams for FREE.  If you are struggling in Network Marketing or MLM and are looking for some answers, please download the FREE EBOOK at the right side of my blog page.  It has saved many people years of failure and frustration.

Are You Focusing Enough On Your Personal Development?

Personal Development is so critical in the success of Network Marketing today.  To achieve the success and results you DESIRE in your business you must define who you are.  To accomplish your DREAMS AND DESIRES you must be internally ready.  One may ask "How do I become internally ready"?  You begin by studying books, Cd's, audios, and attending seminars of people who like minded.  Study the experts.  These are the successful  entrepreneurs who have spent countless hours mastering the subject of Personal Development. Then practice what you learn in everything you do.
There are several areas of Personal Development that one can study and learn.  I have explained eight areas below which I believe are critical to a person's success in their business, life, and well-being.

1. A person needs to develop their skills and abilities.  You accomplish this by taking full advantage of the trainings that are offered by your company.  With development of your skills and abilities these will produce money in your pocket.

2. A person needs to grow as a leader if they hope to ever be successful in Network Marketing.  There is an abundance of material on this subject.  If you want your team to be strong and grow you must be a strong leader.

3. A person needs to remember the Internet is simply a tool.  A tool that can maximize success.  It is the person behind the computer, using the Internet to become successful.  With this being said, the human mind (psychology) must be studied and understood.  When using the Internet you need to think about and know what is my potential prospect or customer looking for and how would they go about finding the information.

4. A person needs to be able to communicate effectively.  A Network Marketer must be able to explain their opportunity and products in writing and on the telephone.  The person should be able to address concerns, awnser questions, follow up and follow though without being degrading, pushy, or offensive.  The Network Marketer wants customers to return and partners to feel part of a team.

5. A person needs to develop the area of Personal Development on a continual basis.  As Network Marketers we are subject to all different type of influence, good and bad, on a daily basis.  We need to learn to sort through the good, bad, and ugly of this world.

6. A person needs to set aside time daily for the study of Personal Development.  We often get side tracked and this gets pushed to the bottom of the priority list, when it should be at the top if success is what we DESIRE.

7. A person needs to develop their own Personal Development Plan.  What is it that you need to focus on to become a better person, family member, and Network Marketer.

8. A person who is a Network Marketer is constantly thinking about their business.  Do yourself a favor, take a break, set aside time to spend with your family, exercise, and have fun in life.  This creates a healthy balance.  If no quality of life exists, success is meaningless.

I hope you have found these areas of focus to be helpful in your Personal Development and knowledge of the Network Marketing world.  If you are searching for more information on how to separate the good, bad, and ugly of Network Marketing and MLM please download this FREE EBOOK.  Many people have saved years of failure and frustration with the studying of this book.
